Less Copper, More Nickel

Our typical copper pens are made of C145 alloyed copper which is 99.5% pure copper, easy to machine, and develops a nice patina... but it's soft. C706 is 89% copper and 10% nickel and is one of the most commonly used copper alloys for highly-corrosive environments like ships and oil refineries. And thanks to the nickel, 706 is lighter in color and a little tougher.

    Nice hue

    Great experience. There isn’t anything tactile turn makes that I don’t like. I can blindly pick something, purchase it and be happy when it gets to me.
