We're big fans of the work Mike Bond does with the LE Series pens over at Ti2 Design, so after floating the idea of a collaboration by him, we sent a batch of smooth titanium pens and gave him free reign to laser and finish them however his heart desired. Each pen takes hours and hours to design, run on the laser, and hand finish to achieve the look, hence the high price. Because of the amount of work that goes into them, Mike is only able to complete 10-15 pens per week on average but the results speak for themselves.

I love TT pens and have a collection of at least a dozen. This paisley is one of the prettiest of them all but it will be my last. I just can't afford $150 shipping to Australia. The pen is 5 stars, the postage options are 1 star.
