Two new things in one package: 1) a metal pen with oversized diameter, 2) a new treatment we're calling X-Tone. If you've picked up an Ultem or Tecaform Bolt Action in the past you probably noticed it feels a little meatier in the hand. Well, people kept asking about "Thick" titanium versions so we got the lathes turning and Bear tried out an experimental, dual tone finish – giving the pen an iridescent color shift to complement the matte black clip and blue internal and bolt.

This is a must have piece for the collection, or as a great option for those that like thicker pens, does have a bit of heft to it but that’s a plus in my opinion. The color shifting finish in these is awesome in person, mine goes from a dark pewter color to a metallic cobalt color depending on the light.

I love the gray blue color.
The blue hardware is a nice accent.

The pen is great all around. The only problem is the clip. There isn't enough space between the clip and the pen, to clip to jeans or other thick pocket material. I think a clip redesign is needed for this and the ultem pen.
