Divot Switch Pen

This pen writes exceptionally well and feels great in the hand. The click mechanism is smooth, solid, and very satisfying to use. The overall fit and finish are excellent, and it has quickly become one of my favorite everyday pens. Highly recommended!

Of the Tactile Turn pens that I have, this one is my favorite. The things that I like include the smooth surface at the pen tip and the switch for deployment of the ink cartridge. The action was a little rough at first. I tried some heavy weight knife pivot lube for the switch lever, but that didn't seem to help. I eventually ended up using some spray dry lock lube and that made the action buttery smooth. Unfortunately the anodization at the top of the internal shaft partially rubbed off already before I found the lock lube. My only other minor gripe would be that the holes have kind of a sharp edge to them and with the dry air this winter it seems like the hole edges are constantly removing the dry skin from the tips of my fingers. If I could ask for one thing to make this pen better it would be to get it without the holes, while still keeping the smooth surface finish and dimples. The ribbed finish on a lot of the other Tactile Turn pens really bothers me.
