DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is an incredibly tough coating that is often applied to improve wear characteristics and add some lubricity to the part that is being coated. For our pens, it's more of an ornamental coating to get an ultra-durable black. These have been bead blasted for more of a matte finish.

This pen was sold out when I first came across this website. I like the regular titanium pen, but was a huge fan of this dark finish, so I signed up for alerts. As soon as they were back in stock, I purchased right away, and am personally so glad I did. It looks incredible and feels amazing. I love the look and feel of this pen. Worth the price as something that's supposed to last a lifetime.

This is my 3rd pen from the company. I have the original titanium glide pen, an aluminum shaker, and now the bead blasted DLC titanium bolt action. I absolutely love these pens. They are durable and look freaking awesome. I love that I can use a G2 refill. The click pen and bolt action is so satisfying to click and release. I'm constantly walking around clicking away. The newest pen in my collection does not disappoint. Hardest thing is to decide which pen to use for the day.
